Surrender...

It's Holy Week!

It is time to put away selfishness, pride and every other vice that would distract us from the weight of this week. This is the time to reflect on Jesus' passionate, merciful love: the love He demonstrated in His willingness to suffer and die for us.

May we do more than remember His great sacrifice and death on the Cross. May we surrender: immerse ourselves completely in the depths of His love, and accept it, knowing that we have done nothing to earn or deserve it.

May we thank God for His gift of love, and for the privilege of being members of His family. May we remember, reflect, receive humbly with open hands and hearts, then tell others of the goodness of God.
