There's a restlessness,

an emptiness,

a longing not fulfilled...

a seeking

but not finding;

a yearning that's not stilled...

there's a hunger,

there's a thirst;

a sense of wanting more...

an aching,

and a gnawing that

I overlooked before ... There’s a discontent,

a long lament,

an incessant urge to cry;

an unwillingness

to chase the things

that cannot satisfy...

a knowing when

some things don’t fit,

and start to fall apart...

Yet, the assurance that

I’ll find You

when I search with all my heart...
